The focus areas include individual, family and community wellbeing, preservation of ecological balance and conflict resolution / coexistence. The program serves as a resource for household planning, personal / community health and hygiene, and wholesome education for all. The program also mobilizes resources for and undertakes relief and rehabilitation activities during emergencies.

Mool was formally established as a trust in 2012. It was registered with the Income Tax Department u/s 12AA in 2016 and u/s 80G in 2017.
